My name is Cami Kulbieda and I am a senior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At BC, I am double majoring in Elementary Education and Applied Psychology & Human Development. In addition to serving as UGBC President, I was a First Year Experience Orientation Leader this past summer!

I joined UGBC my sophomore year because I am passionate about addressing the unmet needs of those around me and bridge gaps in their experiences. Being a senator provided me with just the right platform to use my voice and efforts to serve others in this way. My favorite part of UGBC is collaborating, problem-solving, and brainstorming with peers on our initiatives. To me, there鈥檚 nothing quite like a passionate group of students united by the common goal of improving the community and campus they love.

This year, I鈥檓 looking forward to launching an internal mentor/mentee program to better promote collaboration and unity across our large, diverse organization. Externally, I most look forward to our tabling events and getting to chat with and meet fellow Eagles on the quad!

In addition to serving as UGBC Chief of Staff, I am involved with the Arrupe International Encounters Program!

I joined UGBC at the beginning of my freshman year. I was lucky enough to meet two former UGBC members on one of my first days on BC鈥檚 campus and was told all about UGBC. They convinced me to look into it, and after learning more about the organization, I decided to apply to the Student Initiatives division! My favorite part of UGBC is how much I have been able to learn about BC. I have learned so much about the resources available to students and the many different organizations that make up BC through my work in UGBC.

This year, I鈥檓 looking forward to meeting even more current UGBC members and welcoming new members. I am also looking forward to some of my favorite UGBC events such as Project Life, Dinner in the Dark, and ALC Showdown.

UGBC Senate

The Senate acts as the legislative branch of the UGBC by working to enact legislation, conduct surveys, and address student concerns and needs on campus. The Senate structure consists of four standing committees that work toward the aforementioned goals in an effort to better the BC student experience within their respective policy areas. These committees include the Academic Affairs Committee, the Intersectionality Committee, and the Student Life Committee. Each committee is overseen by a Senate representative who serves as a committee chair. Please refer to the 鈥淐ontact Your Representative鈥 tab to learn about your representatives and the 鈥淢eet Your Committee Chairs鈥 tab to learn more about the chairs and their respective committees.

My name is Reagan Marino and I am a senior from Oradell, New Jersey. At BC, I am majoring in Political Science and double minoring in International Studies and General Business. In addition to serving as UGBC Vice President, I am a Resident Assistant, a Research Assistant, a Campus Recreation Supervisor, and an APPA Student Leader.

I joined UGBC during the first semester of my junior year while serving as a Resident Assistant at Messina in its inaugural year as a college. In that role, I witnessed firsthand the individual concerns and feedback of students. When an open Class of 2026 Senator position became available, I saw it as the perfect opportunity to further advocate for the needs of Messina alongside like-minded peers. My favorite part of UGBC is the fact that everyone who is a part of the organization wants to be there and strives to make BC a better place.

This year, I鈥檓 looking forward to working with the senators to foster greater transparency between the student body and the administration. I鈥檓 also committed to increasing awareness of the valuable resources available on campus, so that every student feels informed, supported, and empowered.

My favorite part of UGBC is having the unique opportunity to build strong relationships with faculty and administrators that allow me to turn student concern into real progress on campus.

I joined UGBC as a senator my freshman year because I did student government in high school and knew I wanted to continue to be involved as an advocate for my classmates. UGBC also felt like a good opportunity to make connections across campus right off the bat. My favorite part of UGBC is that it unites students from all groups and sectors on campus. I have met people I never would have known otherwise and I am so grateful for that. Our student government is truly representative of all schools, majors, grades, hometowns, interests, and passions. It is amazing to be able to collaborate with such a diverse group of individuals united by our desire to make BC the best it can be..

This year, I鈥檓 looking forward to working closely with my fellow chairs, as well as the directors, vice president, and president. This will be my first year in leadership and I can't wait to see what this new dynamic brings to my experience with UGBC. I joined UGBC as a senator at the start of my freshman year, and have loved the engaging and productive community of the UGBC Senate. I had been in student government and high school, and jumped at the chance to continue engaging with my fellow students in this type of role. My favorite part of UGBC is that it contains the Senate and so many divisions. So much of the work and events that happen at 成人快播 College comes out of different parts of UGBC working independently or collaboratively, so this organization truly contributes so much to our campus.

This year, I鈥檓 looking forward to First Gen week, and I鈥檓 excited to support the Pine Manner Institute this year as much as we can with multiple events!

My favorite part of UGBC is how its members reflect on areas of BC that can be improved and use their creativity and drive to come up with new initiatives and ways of doing things. It鈥檚 definitely a slow and steady process with a lot of behind the scenes work, but I think that鈥檚 the beauty of it.听

This year, I鈥檓 looking forward to the Eagles Sustainability Case Competition because it鈥檚 something I鈥檝e been working on the past couple of years. I joined UGBC my sophomore year. I wasn't involved in student government in high school, but it was something I always was interested in. Joining UGBC made me realize I'm passionate about advocacy and coming up with different initiatives that impact the student body. My favorite part of UGBC is all of the people I get to meet, both within and outside of UGBC. When tabling on the quad, you get to interact with so many people that you would never run into. You also get so close with your division members during the weekly meetings and one-on-ones. I would have never imagined I would meet some of my closest friends and mentors through UGBC. Also, UGBC provides so many opportunities to talk with administrators, whether it be for initiative planning or our annual Dinner and Dialogue event.

This year, I'm looking forward to our Outreach Days where we can directly interact with the student body and listen to their ideas and concerns which impacts our initiatives and planning for the upcoming year.
